Harriet W. Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning offers postdocs and junior faculty four year-long Teaching Certificate Programs designed to help participants develop a reflective teaching practice, improve their effectiveness as an instructor and prepare for careers in higher education. Center for Computation and Visualization

Center for Computation and Visualization (CCV) offers three levels of Certificates in High-Performance Computing (HPC) for Brown postdoctoral researchers who complete workshops in topics ranging from basic to advanced. The goal of this program is to help train participants with diverse backgrounds to use computing more effectively in their research at Brown and beyond. The program's focus is on practical and timely knowledge that participants can apply immediately to their own research and that, in the long term, will broaden their career options in both academia and industry.

GraphPad Prism Software License

Brown has secured additional licenses for GraphPad Prism to be made available to faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral trainees within the Division of Biology & Medicine.  Because we have a limited number of licenses, you will need to apply for use of the software.  Distribution will be made so that we can best serve the needs of the division. 

Some things that should be considered:  i) loading the licensed software on to a licensed on to a Brown- owned computer that is central to one or more working groups and can be shared by multiple users; ii) limit multiple licenses in a single working/ lab group; and iii) removing licenses from unused or discarded computer equipment.

Please complete the form and Submit.  Your request will be received by the Computing Accounts & Passwords (CAP) team. They will confirm your eligibility, and you will receive a response with the next steps.
