Third-year student Garvin Dodard received a travel award to attend The Annual Meeting of The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) in Washington, DC. This Association brings together the world leaders in immunology to present their research in lectures and major symposia. AAI also invites investigators at every career stage to submit abstracts reporting their latest scientific findings in oral and poster sessions.
Travel support for attendance at the AAI annual meeting is funded by a grant to the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, National Institutes of Health [FASEB MARC Program].
The FASEB Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program is supporting travel awards for eligible underrepresented minority students and postdocs for the AAI annual meeting.
