Third-year graduate student Swathi Penumutchu has received an NSF Fellowship Award for her proposal "Multi-omic analysis of Purified-Plant Fibers and Prophylactic Antibiotics On the Rumen Microbiome". The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions.
