Second-year student Ash Uruchurtu's artistic skills were recently showcased in a popular science book Infectious: Pathogens and How We Fight Them by Dr. John S. Tregoning.  When asked about their artistic side, Ash shared "I have been interested in art since I was little, and as I grew up I began to combine my interest in science with my artistic skills. A former colleague of mine at Imperial College London reached out to me with his manuscript, as he knew of my interest in illustration and had seen some of my work on Twitter (@AshDoesResearch). It was an exciting opportunity and an honor to contribute to an innovative and informative book on immunology".  Pathobiology was fortunate to have Ash contribute their winning design in our 2021 Retreat shirt contest.  Congrats Ash!
