Course Title:
Working in Extreme Temperatures Training

Course Description:
Working in Extreme Temperatures Training is a 1 hour session presented by the Safety Specialist and covers topics related to working safely in extreme temperatures. The training will cover:

  • Heat stress exposure
  • Hear stress factors
  • Heat stress prevention
  • Specific treatment for heat related injuries
  • Cold work environments
  • Specific treatment for cold related injuries

Who Must Attend?
Any employee exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures as part of their job duties.

When Must Initial Training be Completed?
Initial training must be completed within 30 days of hire.

How Often Must I Attend a Refresher Course?
Refresher training must be completed annually.
