Description:
Materials Handling Training is a 1 hour session presented by the
Safety Specialist and covers topics related to working safely while
handling materials. The training will cover:
- Preventing
back injuries
- Back Anatomy
- What goes
wrong
- Stretching
for safety
Who
Must Attend?
All employees who are required to handle materials as part of their
job duties must attend this training.
When
Must Initial Training be Completed?
Initial training must be completed within 30 days of hire.
How
Often Must I Attend a Refresher Course?
Refresher
training is required under the following conditions.
- An employee
demonstrates the need for retraining.
- An employee
has an accident or near-miss accident pertaining to materials
handling.
