Residence Hall Fire Safety Training is a 1 hour session presented
by the Fire Safety Staff and covers topics related to fire safety
within residence halls. This training includes, but is not limited
to:
- Fire prevention
in your residence
- Emergency
evacuation procedures
- Calling
for help in an emergency
- Prohibited
items and actions
Who
Should Attend?
Initial training is recommended for all residents of a University residence
hall.
When
Should Initial Training be Completed?
Initial training must be completed before or within the first month
of attending Brown University.
How Often
Should I Attend a Refresher Course?
Currently there
is no refresher frequency requirement, but an annual refresher is
recommended.
