Universal Waste Training is a 30 minute session presented by the
Environmental Compliance Specialist and covers key topics for managing
universal wastes including, but not limited to:
- Identifying
Universal Waste
- Improper
Universal Waste Disposal
- Fluorescent
Lamps Storage Procedure
- Labeling
- Spill and
accidental release procedures
Who
Must Attend?
Universal Waste Training is required for all individuals who collect,
store, transport, or otherwise manage any universal waste (batteries,
fluorescent lamps, cathode ray tubes, etc.).
When
Must Initial Training be Completed?
Initial Universal Waste Training is required before managing Universal
Waste.
How
Often Must I Attend a Refresher Course?
Universal Waste Training is required annually.
