Pinar Durgun

The Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology's Pinar Durgun successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, "Mortuary Places, Rituals, and Memories: Anatolian Cemeteries in Context," on Thursday, December 14th. Durgun has been awarded a Deans' Faculty Fellowship, and will be appointed Visiting Assistant Professor of Archaeology and the Ancient World at Brown University as of January 15th.  She will be teaching the Brown University course, ARCH 0310  Interactions with the Dead: In the Past and Present, this Spring.
