Funding is available to support faculty with scholarly projects. Funding for medical education projects is available from the Program in Educational Faculty Development (PEFD). The PEFD also accepts proposals on a rolling basis for workshop development and presentation. Funding for clinical or translational research is available from Advance-CTR. A variety of resources and services for acquiring internal and external funding are available via Brown University’s Office of the Vice President for Research and Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
Online Health Science and Clinical resources (databases, journals, textbooks) are available to faculty via the Brown University Library.
A number of resources are available from the AAMC's Group on Educational Affairs (GEA), and their Section on Medical Education Scholarship Research & Evaluation (MESRE) occasionally announces medical education research grant opportunities.
