Congratulations to IMSD@Brown Multi-PI, Professor Harrington, who received the Graduate School Faculty Award for Advising and Mentoring! In addition to her role as IMSD MPI, Elizabeth O. Harrington is a Professor of Medicine, Research Scholar, and Associate Dean of the Office of Graduate Studies in the Division of Biology and Medicine.

The University Awards Ceremony, A Celebration of Teaching, was held May 1, 2024 by the Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning. The Graduate School Faculty Award for Advising and Mentoring recognizes a faculty member who has made a significant contribution as an advisor and mentor to graduate students. Congratulations to Dean Harrington and all of this year's award recipients!

Congratulations to Kimberly Meza for receiving the 2024 American Association for Cancer Research Minority in Cancer Research Scholar award. The purpose of the AACR award program is to increase the scientific knowledge base of minority scientists and encourage them to pursue careers in cancer research.

Kimberly is a fourth year Kimberly is a fourth year doctoral candidate in the Pathobiology graduate program and member of the Sheldon Holder Lab.

Congratulations to Dominique Pablito on receiving the 2023 Biomedical Science Careers Program (BSCP) Hope Scholarship. The Hope Scholarship is an educational scholarship given to exceptional BSCP students every year.
