IMSD Senior Scholars are graduate students in STEM disciplines who assist faculty module leaders in delivering contents of skill-based training modules to IMSD participants as well as to other graduate student participants. In this collaborative role, Scholars also serve as peer mentors who provide additional advising support to IMSD student participants. Scholars are selected from past IMSD participants and other graduate students within STEM disciplines who have made exceptional progress in their studies and research and are interested in serving in such a a role. Students should consult with their faculty advisor(s) prior to accepting a senior scholar position to ensure that it will not conflict with other responsibilities.
