Anyone with a diagnosis of a neurologic or neurodegenerative disease;

• Anyone with a family history of a neurologic or neurodegenerative disease;
• Individuals without brain disease are also needed (normal controls).

The Cost

The Brown Brain Tissue Resource Center is a not-for-profit facility under the auspices of the Alpert Medical School and partially funded from government research grants. Expenses include: transportation to the hospital, the brain autopsy and pathologist’s report. The family is not formally charged for the brain autopsy or pathologist's report, however, donations are very much appreciated.
