Nancy Khalek is Associate Professor of Religious Studies specializing in Late Antiquity and Classical Islam. Her teaching at Brown covers topics and issues spanning the medieval and modern periods, including Muslim-Christian relations, Islam in the US and in the contemporary Middle East, Sexuality and Islamic Culture, and the history of the Quran.
