Juan Wilson Jr.

Juan K. Wilson Jr. is a Providence native known for his strategic partnerships and creative entrepreneurship. Juan works in the entertainment, tech and the non-profit sector. Juan started his career as a graphic designer. In the years that followed, he acquired additional knowledge and experience that contributed to his success in the fields of branding, promotions and grass-roots marketing. Juan started as a concert promoter in 1996, bringing artists like Jay Z and Soldier Boy to the Providence market for their first major appearances. His knowledge of experiential marketing and design eventually lead Juan to a consultant position with Toyota Motor Corp. From there, he assisted with developing event marketing campaigns for their youth brand, Scion, in the Southern New England area. Juan then traveled throughout the US and abroad in the continued development and marketing of the Scion brand. Past and present clients include Universal Records, Atlantic Records, Muzik Headphones, InMusic/AkaiPro, CBS Broadcasting, City of Providence and Genre-Defying Entertainment with artist araabMUZIK and Atlantic Records recording artist Raiche.

Juan continues to consult on developing and implementing innovative strategic partnerships and planning efforts for his growing client list. He specializes in working with business executives to identify and develop various verticals by utilizing his disruptive thinking, especially in the world of nonprofits. Due to his extensive knowledge and work ethic, he is often sought after for consultation on various committees and boards in relation to strategic planning, fundraising, building systems, branding, marketing and design thinking.

Juan is still active in many fields of business development and brokering deals, but has also shifted his focus to projects with social impact. His latest project is #YESpvd! - Youth Empowerment Society / Summit (formerly TURNUPRI) which has reached over 1200 + students, facilitators and volunteers since 2015. He also consults as an Independent Business Developer with a focus on strategic planning and system building utilizing technology, branding, promotions and social enterprise.
