My name is Michelle Alas (she/her/ella) and I am from the Bay Area, California. I was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, and my family moved to this country for my education. I have a great reverence for education and language study, and am using my passions and languages in my community engagement. I am studying International and Public Affairs and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. I am partnered with Progreso Latino, and hope to be an immigration/civil rights lawyer in the future.
