Patrick Wu is a senior at Brown University, where he concentrates in philosophy and math-economics. Within philosophy, his main interests are in moral and political philosophy. Most recently, he has thought about the relation between rational belief and voting. In economics, he is interested by formal results from social choice theory/general equilibria analysis, as well as by empirical work on development and inequality. He hopes to pursue a career where he can connect interesting empirical/formal results with normative theorizing. Outside of class, he competes in mock trial and watches far too many chess commentaries on YouTube. He is also planning to train for a marathon over the summer.
