Jesse Beller is a junior at Brown University, concentrating in History with a focus on economic development in the Middle East. Jesse has worked in technology, media, sports, finance, and energy with the goal of learning how businesses operate and how people and companies improve efficiency. During the academic year Jesse is an analyst for the Brown Endowment Investment Office. Jesse hopes to apply the skills he's learned in the private sector to building a more equal and just society. He believes that both sets of skills, private and public, are critical to a successful government and democracy. Jesse is a dual US-UK citizen. He grew up in London but now lives in San Francisco. Jesse reads passionately about politics and business, and is probably in love with food.
