I want to explore the ways that foods of colonized lands have become ingrained into the food culture of their colonizers. I will travel to the Netherlands to explore the influence of the indonesian food and culture on the Dutch.  I want to investigate the ways that this influence has forced colonial nations to face their colonial past and thus resist colonial amnesia.
