Located in southern Vietnam, I will physically map the movement of my great aunt/grandparents during the First and Second Indochina Wars. (America calls the latter the "Vietnam War"; Vietnam calls it the "American War.") Through photography and writing, I will document my 21st-century experience of their flight—and my research will also contribute to my forthcoming book, based on my great aunt's life.
