Trauma Recovery: Promoting Empowered Recovery Among Dsv Survivors In The Providence Community Through The Creation Of Peer-Supported Horticulture Therapy Workshops

For her project, Corinne will research the varied effects of trauma on DSV survivors, the multifaceted benefits of Horticulture Therapy, and native New England plant species. The results of this research will be utilized to develop trauma-informed, peer-supported workshops centered around horticultural wellness practices. These workshops will be mindfully designed to promote empowered healing and self-care among DSV survivors who receive services through Sojourner House Incorporated. Furthermore, these workshops will also foster environmental awareness.
