Dayana’s project is a phenomenological and ethnographic study that explores Polaris’s Sex Trafficking from Mexico Initiative and media campaign, Únete a la Solución, and its impact on raising awareness on human trafficking on young women of color and community members in Mexico City. The findings of this project will attempt to glean concrete accountability from foreign anti-trafficking based NGOs in their promises to assist trafficked persons.
