The Effects of Micro credit on Women’s Empowerment and Marital Relations in Salta, Argentina

Debbie Lehmann and Scott Lowenstein studied the effects of participation in microcredit programs on women’s wellbeing and perceived gender roles in Argentina. They collected quantitative survey data and conducted interviews with residents in Salta, Argentina, and prepared a report outlining their statistical findings.

While at Brown Deborah was the editor of School Lunch Talk, a blog about school food. She currently working for a winery in the Bay Area.
