As Seattle Expands: Carbon Stock Changes from Master-Planned Developments in the Greater Seattle Area

Deborah measured the change in carbon stocks when forestland in the greater Seattle area is converted into master-planned housing developments. Her goal was to increase the understanding of land use change and its effect on carbon stocks and climate change.

Deborah is a Construction Manager at Boston Properties where she is responsible for design, planning and construction of various projects, focusing primarily on iconic, landmark buildings in Boston's Back Bay. Deborah also serves as as a sustainable design advocate, involved in both efficiency and resiliency initiatives. Prior to that Deborah was a Project Engineer with DPR and Assistant Pre-construction Manager with Suffolk Construction.
