Exploring the Implementation of ImPrEP México for HIV Prevention in Mexico City using RE-AIM

ImPrEP México is a pilot project evaluating the acceptability and feasibility of PrEP, an effective HIV prevention medication, amongst at-risk populations in Mexico, including men who have sex with men (MSM) and male sex workers (MSW). It aims to enroll 3000 participants to receive daily doses of PrEP across seven different sites in Mexico. The RE-AIM framework can be used to assess the implementation and effectiveness of ImPrEP in these different settings, potentially streamlining the scale-up of PrEP distribution to similar populations throughout Mexico. This project will use the Reach and Adoption components of RE-AIM to evaluate the implementation of ImPrEP México among MSW in Mexico City.
