Faculty Sponsor: Kathryn DeMaster

Lucy investigated the applicability of European agri-environmental policies in support of more environmentally sustainable and socially just agricultural practices in the Rhode Island context. More specifically, she explored the promotion of Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), a certification process that fosters institutional commitments to cultural and agricultural place-based food heritage.

Lucy was the lead organizer at Green Corp in Denver, Colorado. She is currently the Training Director at Progressive Change Campaign Committee in Denver.
