Faculty Sponsors: John Hermance and Barrett Hazeltine Marc will study geothermal heat pumps designed to meet the needs of a building with minimal pollution. He is working with geological science Professor John Hermance and engineering Professor Barrett Hazeltine to maximize the application of this technology to New England.

Marc is a Vice President and Director of Steven Winters Associate’s, Multifamily Energy Services. Marc has directed energy audits on over 20 million square feet of existing buildings and leads a team committed to applying a rigorous technical approach to the evaluation and implementation of a wide range of building upgrades. He is also the project manager for the Deutsche Bank/Living Cities Energy Efficiency Data Report Project. The primary goal of the project is to measure the actual energy savings of 100+ retrofit projects in order to develop the data necessary for underwriters to rationally lend against future energy savings.
