Rajan worked with the medical director of the Kamla Hospital, in a rural area of northern India. He hoped to develop a deeper understanding of patient care and hospital management in an international context. This project was part of a continuum of study and research that Agarwal designed to provide a holistic approach to the management and practice of medicine.
Rajan is currently a radiologist in Abington, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with Abington Memorial Hospital. He received his medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and has been in practice for 10 years. "My principal clinical interest is in advanced cancer imaging, PET/CT and nuclear medicine. Recently, I performed the first clinical PET Amyloid Scan for evaluation of Alzheimer's disease in the country at our PET center."
