Victoria will conduct ethnographic research with two, Southeast Asian, grassroots organizations in the U.S. and in Cambodia. She plans to document the ongoing deportation of Cambodian American refugees and the similarities in U.S. sanctioned violence across refugee movements. She hopes to identify and highlight ongoing transnational solidarities between deported refugee activists in Cambodia and their communities in the U.S.
