Yune Jee Bang, Environmental Studies, '24, New Jersey Yune Jee is an environmental advocate, writer, and aspiring homesteader. She is especially interested in studying the food system and fighting food inequality. Yune Jee is driven by a commitment to social justice and her Christian faith. She envisions a future world centered on human generosity and cooperation. Yune Jee’s professional experiences have ranged from conducting scientific research to running a nonprofit to interning at a New York State Senator’s office, as well as other adventures such as starting a community garden, writing published plays and poems, and work-exchanging on a Korean farm. If you’d like to get to know her, Yune Jee will always welcome a game of cards, eye-shopping at the local hardware store, or just casual conversation over tea!
