Boost Juice

Boost Juice seeks to tackle financial instability of the ethnic minority community in the Central Highland of Vietnam by engaging them in a supply chain that produces Gac juice - a "superfruit" indigenous to Vietnam and packed with vitamins and nutrients. Boost Juice aims to build a business that will provide the ethnic minority community with a sustainable income stream, thus to create livelihoods for the community.

I'm currently a junior at Brown double concentrating in Economics and Development Studies. Prior to attending Brown, I spent the last 2 years of high school in a United World College (UWC) in Norway. Both the experience at UWC and at Brown strongly influenced my interest in social entrepreneurship and the common good.

Having been born and grown up in Vietnam, I have seen and experienced the transformation in development of the country, as well as the injustice and wealth gap that this process brings about. This has given me the reason and the inspiration to start Boost Juice. I want and hope, through Boost Juice, to create a solution to the problem of financial instability among the ethnic minority community in Vietnam.
