Through workshops and community partnerships, PMCSJ seeks to aid in the cultivation of a creative economy that is representative of the Phoenix metropolitan area. In its pilot phase, PMCSJ conducted media literacy workshops ("How to Film and Edit on Your Smartphone" series) with the Arizona Dream Act Coalition and Poder In Action. PMCSJ continues to strive toward its mission of aiding in the growth of a creative economy that is more just, more equitable, and more representative of the people in the Phoenix Valley Metro Area. PMCSJ also strives to raise the credibility of the content its partners produce through rigorous citation and fact-checking (when/where necessary).
