Project: This project focuses on bringing students who were raised in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and who moved away for post-secondary education back to their home region in the Rio Grande Valley during the summer to intern with partnered corporations in the area. In an effort to bring back newly honed skills and experiences, this program seeks to introduce students to job opportunities in their home region as a way to supplement and better the conditions of one of the most looked at regions in the country, a region that has undergone immense growth despite national rhetoric on migration and border issues.
