Noah is a sophomore from Miami, Florida double-concentrating in International and Public Affairs and Economics. Having grown up in a diverse household with his Ugandan father and Costa Rican mother, Noah came to Brown inspired by the university’s commitment to engage with intellectual perspectives from the Global South. As a Social Innovation Fellow, he is hoping to combat transnational wealth disparities through creative and sustainable solutions. Back home, Noah played a critical role in implementing the Achieve Miami academic enrichment program, a non-profit organization serving disadvantaged student populations in the Greater Miami Area. On campus, Noah is an editor for the Brown Political Review, the Political Director of the Brown College Democrats, and a Connect for Health Community Health Desk Advocate. In his free time, he enjoys cooking in the company of loved ones and demonstrating his knowledge of obscure trivia from his favorite TV show, The Office.
