Raymond Yeo ’23, born and raised in Los Angeles, is pursuing an Sc.B. in Computer Science-Economics and a minor equivalent in Urban Studies. He is particularly interested in opportunities that enable him to apply the technical skills he has learned through his computer science education at Brown. Raymond is a strong believer that ethically grounded, data-driven technologies are the key to educating the public, and will serve as the basis for improving our social institutions. Raymond serves as the Director of Operations at Cress Health, a student-run startup whose mission is to democratize access to mental health resources. He also conducts research on climate change and its effect on quality adjusted population density with Professor David Weil and Brown's Department of Economics. As a part time job, Raymond teaches computer science to grade school kids through Juni learning.
