Rhythm is a rising junior from the class of 2022, from Vadodara, India studying Sociology. She is interested in social policy making with a focus on community organizing and activism, and has previously been involved with organizations that focus on rights based legislation in India (such as MKSS who work for rural laborer and worker rights), and also worked on her own project for four years on menstrual health awareness in India.

At Brown, Rhythm is involved with the Centre for Contemporary South Asia, which allows her to explore her interest in South Asian academics and research, alongside being a content team member for Better World by Design, a conference that invites speakers to conduct workshops and lectures about using design for social good. She also enjoys working on production teams for student theatre and films at Brown. To this end, Rhythm is excited about exploring and learning about the ways in which community organizing and social justice work inform art and media, and how we can best combine those two areas to achieve motives of engaging with people, and narrating their stories.
