Penta aims to increase access to prosthetics for low-income people with limb disabilities in Vietnam. Penta offers a transparent and streamlined model to collect used prosthetics in the U.S, ensure quality control of prosthetics, and work directly with local clinics and hospitals in Vietnam to re-purpose the parts for disabled patients. Unlike any service currently on the market, Penta will cover the cost of donors’ shipping, provide a digital interface for donors with regular updates on the status of their used prosthetics, and ensure the quality of the devices as well as the fitting procedure.
