Neuro-Oncology

Currently, Rhode Island leads the nation in the number of brain tumors per capita. The neuro-oncology service was created to improve treatment for brain tumor patients, through a multi-disciplinary approach with both pre- and post-operative care to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Drs. Elinzano works closely with the Neurology Department and the Comprehensive Cancer Center as well as other Rhode Island Hospital physicians who have expertise in oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology to develop a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to each patient's care.

The Neuro-oncology Clinic is located at Rhode Island Hospital in the Comprehensive Cancer Center on the first floor of the Ambulatory Patient Center (APC).
