Talk on COVID-19 care for geriatrics available

On April 9, 2020, Dr. Stefan Gravenstein delivered a lecture on "COVID-19 concepts and their application to geriatrics."

COVID-19 is disproportionately affecting older adults, who are at high risk for severe illness and death due to age, underlying conditions, and residence in congregate care settings where infection control measures are especially difficult to implement. Dr. Gravenstein's talk, delivered to a group of Brown University geriatric and palliative medicine clinicians, is now available on-demand, below, for others interested in learning about COVID-19 in the context of geriatric medicine.

Dr. Gravenstein is Professor of Health Services, Policy & Practice at the Brown University School of Public Health and Director of the Division of Geriatric & Palliative Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He collaborates with Q&I on studies related to influenza and other infectious disease topics.
