Brown to confer 2,505 degrees at its 253rd Commencement

At its 253rd Commencement — which will take place across two days of ceremonies on May 1 and 2, 2021 — Brown University will confer a total of 2,505 undergraduate, graduate, medical and honorary degrees.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — Brown University will confer a total of 2,505 degrees at its 253rd Commencement exercises, with undergraduate, graduate and medical school ceremonies taking place across Saturday, May 1, and Sunday, May 2, 2021.

On Saturday, degrees will be conferred on the College Green during the Graduate School ceremony and on the Ruth J. Simmons Quad during the Warren Alpert Medical School ceremony. On Sunday, degrees will be conferred to undergraduates in two separate, but identical College ceremonies, which will take place on the College Green.
