Brown to confer 2,921 degrees at 255th Commencement

On Sunday, May 28, the University will confer a total of 2,921 degrees in all categories — undergraduate, graduate, medical and honorary.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — Brown University will confer a total of 2,921 degrees at its 255th Commencement, with undergraduate, graduate and medical school ceremonies taking place on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

On Sunday, Class of 2023 degrees will be conferred on Pembroke Field and at Meehan Auditorium during respective doctoral and master’s ceremonies; at the First Baptist Church in America during the College ceremony; and at the First Unitarian Church during the Warren Alpert Medical School ceremony.

Undergraduate, graduate and medical students will then unite on the College Green for the University Ceremony, during which honorary and symbolic degrees will be awarded.
