PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — As the 2025-26 academic year begins at Brown University and more than 3,200 new undergraduate, graduate and medical students arrive on campus, the University also welcomes a group of 38 new scholars to the Brown faculty.
With research and teaching expertise spanning topics from neuroscience to Hispanic studies to biostatistics, Brown’s newest faculty members represent a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives and academic interests.
“Our faculty are central to Brown’s research and educational mission,” said Brown Provost Francis J. Doyle III. “These new members of our community are vital to the continued growth of Brown as a preeminent research university that is dedicated to the education of future generations. I am excited that they have chosen to join our university.”
The cohort of new faculty members, which includes tenured and tenure-track, teaching, and research faculty, will serve across the University’s academic departments, divisions and schools.
