New Research Assistant Joins the Cioe Research Team

Join Dr. Patricia Cioe and the Cioe Research Team in welcoming their new Research Assistant to CAAS - Bianca Camacho! 

Bianca Camacho is in her last semester at Brown University where she will be graduating with degrees in Neuroscience and Science, Technology, and Society. She is currently working with Dr. Patricia Cioe's research team on Project PNAV, a peer navigator model to improve quit attempts and smoking cessation rates among HIV-positive smokers. Prior to working with Dr. Cioe, Bianca was a Student Research Assistant for Teresa DeAtley in the SHARE Lab where she helped investigate the biopsychosocial factors associated with cigarette and e-cigarette use in smokers with Affective Disorders. Bianca is excited to begin her studies at Brown's Alpert Medical School in 2022!
