Join us the first Thursday of every month for the BioCon Seminar series! This seminar series is focused on bringing in speakers, with higher degrees in the life sciences, to speak with post-docs, graduate students, and med students about diverse career paths outside of academia. You will hear from people in government and policy, consulting, gene-therapeutics research, pre-clinical testing, regulatory science, computational biology and more! Each seminar will have two speakers that will discuss their career path, their day-to-day work, and their advice for students and post-docs. Following this, there will be an open discussion with the speakers over dinner! Come learn what you can do with your degree and expand your network!
If you would like to attend the dinner and round table discussion, please RSVP through the link below by NOON on April 3, 2019. If you show up without having RSVP'd, you will not be able to
eat the food provided due to ordering constraints. Thank you!
Graduate, medical, and post-doctoral students from all departments are invited to attend the BioCON Industry Seminar Series.
This seminar series aims to provide students with an opportunity to hear from and converse with speakers outside of academia. This seminar series is associated with BioCON (Bio Career Opportunities Now) and is sponsored by the Biotechnology Graduate Program and the Brown BioMed Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies.
