Jessie Rapoza '21 ScM'22 Wins Best Presentation Award at ICNN

Master's student Jessie Rapoza '21 ScM'22 received the Best Presentation Award at the International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICNN) 2022. Her outstanding presentation was entitled Chiral Molecule Detection via Optical Rectification in Spin-Momentum Locking with co-authors Petr Moroshkin and Jimmy Xu. Rapoza has been working with Moroshkin and Xu on this research as part of a thesis toward a 5th year master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. 'Best Paper Award / Best Presentation Award' are conferred on the author(s) of an abstract or a full paper presented at the conference. Selection is made based on the best combined marks of the abstract / paper review and presentation quality appraisal conducted by the Session Chair at the conference venue, and assessed by the Program Committee. Award winners were announced after the conference. The conference took place April 14-15, 2022 in Paris, France and online.
