Care Report

How can Student Support Services support you?

Student Support Services is a non-confidential resource that provides non-clinical, holistic support to undergraduate and graduate students experiencing distress or significant personal challenges that are interrupting their ability to persist and thrive at Brown. We are the central point of contact for collaboration with students, faculty, staff or families when there is concern or worry for a student’s health, safety or wellness.

The Care Report is a way to share information about a student who may be experiencing a particularly difficult situation and needs help connecting to the appropriate resources for support. Please note that the Care Report is for non-emergencies only.  Please reach out to Student Support Services if you would like to discuss your concerns, or are unsure if you should complete the Care Report. You can contact us at 401-863-3145 or email studentsupport@brown.edu. The Care Report is not meant for students to self-refer, but for staff and faculty to share their concerns with Student Support Services.

For matters that need immediate attention, please contact Brown Department of Public Safety, Brown Emergency Medical Services, or the Campus Life Administrator-On-Call at 401-863-4111. These resources  are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  You can also review campus resources here: campus-life.brown.edu/seek-support
