Brown in Washington Summer Fellowship

The Brown in Washington Summer Fellows Program provides up to 10 students with an 10-week internship opportunity working with a range of governmental agencies, think tanks and select not-for-profit organizations in Washington, D.C. 

  • Stipend: $4,000 
  • Apply by March 2, 2018
  • Summer earnings waivers available for eligible students

iProv

The iProv Summer Fellowship Program provides 20 students with the opportunity to work full-time in 8-10 week internships with nonprofit organizations based in greater Providence. 

  • Stipend: $3,500
  • Apply by March 9, 2018
  • Summer earnings waivers available for eligible students

Brown in Tulsa Kaiser Fellowship

The Brown in Tulsa Summer Fellows Program provides up to 7 students with an 8-week internship opportunity working with community-based organizations in Tulsa, OK. 

  • Stipend: $4,000
  • Apply by March 16, 2018
  • Summer earnings waivers available for eligible students

Edward Giuliano '72 Global Fellowships

Guiliano Fellowships provide students with the opportunity to broaden their perspectives and interact with the larger world through academic, creative and cultural experiences outside their current community and comfort zones.

  • Award: $750-$5,000 
  • Apply by April 15, 2018

College Advising Corps (CAC) Matriculation Coaches

College Advising Corps matriculation coaches provide advising and support between high school graduation and college matriculation to decrease incidents of summer melt among economically disadvantaged youth in Rhode Island.

  • Stipend: $2,000
  • Apply by April 6, 2018

Off-Campus Federal Work Study

Eligible Brown students may access their work study funding through off-campus, community-based assignments. This opportunity places students with nonprofit organizations based in the greater Providence area and provides them with a structured and supportive cohort.

  • Rate: $10.50 - $13.50 per hour
