Featured Events

Each Monday during the academic year, the News and Editorial team compiles and distributes Featured Events, a subscription-based e-newsletter that highlights selected University events likely to attract broad interest from members of the Brown community and the general public. Events are also posted to the Featured Events page of the News from Brown website and shared with local news media and calendar editors.

Selection of the presentations, performances and exhibitions that are highlighted in Featured Events is at the discretion of the editorial team. Given the wide variety of events and a significant volume of requests for inclusion, not all submissions will be posted. A complete set of guidelines – which includes instructions on how to submit an event for consideration – outlines the criteria and process for Featured Events submissions.

Members of the Brown community or the broader public can subscribe to the weekly e-newsletter via the Subscribe function on the Featured Events page.
