[EA Colloquium] Yoshikuni Igarashi- Wednesday October 16

The third talk of the semester in the East Asia Colloquium series is by Yoshikuni Igarashi of Vanderbilt University entitled “Tele/vision in Postwar Japan” on Wednesday, October 16, at 5:30 pm at the Faculty Club (Portrait Room). There will be a reception with light refreshments from 5-5:30 pm.

[EA Colloquium] Sabine Frühstück- Wednesday September 25

The second talk of the semester in the East Asia Colloquium series is by Sabine Frühstück (UC Santa Barbara) entitled "Visualizing Histories of Children and Emotions in Twentieth-Century Japan and Beyond" on Wednesday, September 25, at 5:30 pm at the Faculty Club (Portrait Room). Film Screening and Discussion

Please join us for a campus screening of Shusenjo on Saturday, September 21 at 7 pm in Smith-B 106. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the film’s director, Miki Dezaki.
