Kristine Pelton joined the Carney Institute in March of 2022. She has over 15 years of academic research experience focused on preclinical drug development and biomarker-based clinical trials. In her role as Facility Director, Kristine oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility and provides consultations on study design, data analysis, protocol development and grant proposals. The facility's capabilities include running commercially available assays as well as novel assay development, and will be used primarily to support clinical research and fundamental discovery projects related to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias across Brown University.
